Congratulations to the BHS November Students of the Month!!!

Congratulations to the BHS Students of the Month: Kaylee Reyes (Choir), Caity Williams (Band), and Gracelyn Everett (Highlandettes)!

From Mr. Gennette, Choir Director:
Kaylee Reyes Is a senior member of the Burnet HS Choir. She has participated in choir throughout her HS career and is one of this year’s lettermen. In the past she has sung in the region choir auditions and at solo and ensemble contest with great success. She has told me that she writes her own songs, and plans to start a career in the “Music business” side of things. Kaylee has a wonderful voice and is very intelligent and has been a joy to work with. I wish I had a 100 more like her.

From Mr. Cox, Director of Bands:
Caity Williams is a section leader in band and Co-Captain of the Highlandettes. She has proven for four years now that it is possible to balance multiple full-time activities while still maintaining high academic achievement. Not only has Caity achieved many accolades with the EDC, Burnet Band, and Highlandettes, she excels in individual competition as well. Caity is a consistent region band qualifier. She has also advanced to state solo and ensemble multiple times on piano, percussion ensemble, and marimba. She has probably been recognized at more board meetings than any student I've ever had.
Caity is an outstanding musician and student leader. She is proactive, consistent, reliable, and she is a great student teacher. She makes everybody around her better and she is the embodiment of Spirit, Pride, and Honor.

From Mrs. Clinton, Highlandettes:
