Tuesday night (10/25), our Lady Dawgs completed district play. All three teams truly shined as the Freshman Team finished undefeated district champions, the JV team ended up 2nd place and the Varsity finished as undefeated district champions!!! It’s incredible to see the growth since August 1st and so encouraging to think about the future of this program.
We honored our seniors as this is their last home game. It was a wonderful night celebrating them.
We are so thankful to our parents who do so much! This senior group is very special.
Our Varsity is back to work preparing for the first round of playoffs. They will head to Thrall to play a warm up game on Saturday at 1:30.
The Bi-District game will be played on Tuesday, Nov. 1st at Copperas Cove. It will be against Gatesville or Waco Robinson. They have a seeding game on Friday so we will know more details after that game. We will send all that information out as soon as it is confirmed.
We hope you all can be there to cheer these amazing girls on! Being district champions is special, but being undefeated district champions is extremely rare and a very big deal. We have dug through the records and from what we have found, this is the first time on record that our volleyball program has ever been undefeated district champions!!! Please congratulate these young ladies as they continue to break records and set the standards high!!
