Thursday night (9/1) the Bulldog tennis team took on Lago Vista in district play. The matches did not go our way as we lost 13-4. Despite the score, our players played hard to the end. It is easy to let up when you are on the court by yourself and things are not going your way; I'm proud we did not see any of that last night.
We didn't play our best tennis on a night when we faced a tough opponent and that makes it hard to compete on the court. There were some positives to build on--aggression and movement at the net was a big one--and some areas that we need to continue to work on.
Taylor comes to town Thursday, 9/8 for a non-district match.
