Lady Dawgs placed 3rd overall in the Inaugural Tournament on the Bay

This past weekend our Varsity Lady Dawgs traveled to Bay City to compete in the Inaugural Tournament on the Bay. The girls competed well and grew so much as a team! They finished at 5-1 (only losing to 6A Richardson), which made them the 3rd place team overall. We were so excited to celebrate the strong finish along with MaeSyn Gay and Zaria Solis being selected to the All-Tournament team. This trip allowed relationships to grow, trust to build and memories to last a lifetime!

I am so thankful for two outstanding assistant coaches (Coach Kelley and Coach Wooten)! They do so much for me and our program and they deserve a shoutout! I would also like to say thank you to all of our amazing parents - we truly are blessed! Many of our parents send us off with snacks for the road and during the tournament. We even had parents volunteering to help with 9th/JV teams, gather uniforms, and color code spandex and take them to a laundromat! Thank you to all who helped - it takes a whole village to be successful!

Go Lady Dawgs!!
