The UIL Academic Rotary Student of the Month is Elizabeth Bronaugh. Per Mr. Walzel, it was an easy choice to make. You will not find a student more dedicated to her teammates than she is. She is the leader of her team, and they all look to her for leadership.
Elizabeth has always been willing to help any team member that asked, volunteering to make time after class, or school, to study. She is a member of the Spirit, Pride, Honor committee which tells you all you need to know about her desire to express those three characteristics in her daily life at Burnet High School.
She recently competed at the District 19-4A UIL academic meet in Spelling where she was the silver medalist and advanced to the Region 3 Academic. Out of the 507 testers statewide in 4A, she finished as #25.
Upon graduation Elizabeth has plans to complete her EMT training, and will attend Texas Tech in the fall to pursue a degree in Biochemistry.
Congratulations Elizabeth!!
