On Monday, the BHS CC teams, boys and girls, competed at the Regional Meet in Huntsville. Both teams performed very well and are taking steps to the goal of getting back to the state CC meet. Individually, Hudson Bennett defended his regional championship, making him a 3 time regional champion! Also qualifying for the state meet are Andy Urista, 8th place, and Carlos Olvera, 16th.
The boys team finished 5th, one place from qualifying as a team to the state meet. The girls team placed 8th out of 24 teams, a huge improvement from last year.
