FFA selects Jordon Erickson as the October Rotary Student of the Month!

Jordon Erickson has shown a tremendous amount of dedication to the Burnet FFA Chapter. She has been very successful in her FFA career, including being a member of the State Champion Range Team (3rd High Individual in the state), showing market lambs and breeding gilts, helping her team win the State Champion BBQ Team and having the Grand Champion Chicken at The World Food Show as a part of the Burnet FFA BBQ Team that won The World Championship.

Jordon is a very reputable young lady with her teachers and fellow classmates. Due to Jordon’s fine example and leadership, she has been able to achieve many remarkable things as our Burnet FFA President and as a leader on the Area 7 FFA Officer Team. Jordon has excelled academically while finding time to be a part of her equine sports program. Additionally, she serves as an integral member of several judging teams, such as Meats Judging, Range Judging, Land Judging, Environmental and Natural Resources, and Wildlife Judging - alongside her contribution as a member to the Burnet FFA BBQ Cook-Off Team. Saying that she is a very well-rounded person in her school and community would be an understatement.

Hard working, determined, committed, honest, and faithful to her beliefs are just a few qualities that best describe this most outstanding young lady. Jordon’s dedication and work ethic are second to none, and we are proud to select her as our Rotary Student of the Month.
