Martin Luther King Day - January 20th

Here are the Service Projects we have planned for the day...

  1. FFA will be going to the Burnet Harth Foundation where they will help with clean-up and taking care of the livestock.
  1. HOSA will spend the day at Oaks Nursing Home doing various projects and spending some quality time with the residents.
  1. Our National Art Honor Society students (NAHS) will spend the morning at the local Burnet VFW where they will be interacting with members. They will then head to the Hill Country Humane Society where they will do clean-up of facilities and help take care of animals.
  1. Interact students will head over to the Boys and Girls Club of Burnet to do some general clean-up of the area.
  1. FCCLA students will go to Little Texans Day Care to do a little indoor/outdoor clean-up of the area.
  1. Students involved in our Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy will at the Epiphany Church of Burnet.
  1. The Girls Basketball team will head over to R.J. Richey to spend the afternoon helping Art teacher, Mrs. Connolly.
  1. The BHS Swim team is going to Stray Acres Animal Shelter in Bertram where they will help with any clean up and animal care needs.
  1. The Football team will be going to several houses in the community that need to be cleaned up.
  1. The Bulldog Crew will spend the morning helping at Little Texans Day Care, Kid’s Kastle and Domino’s
  1. Highlandettes and BETC students will be on campus hosting a lunch for our wonderful custodial staff.
