Let me know if you have any questions or problems!

Due:
This week, keep track of your food for 4 days. If you can remember EVERYTHING you ate yesterday, then you can begin with that. Otherwise, you can start with today.
Write down anything that has substance. Water doesn't count but sugary drinks do. I don't want you to change what you eat, but just keep track of what you are consuming. PLEASE be honest with what you are eating. It doesn't matter to me how many calories you consume a day, but maybe this will help you be more aware of it.
Part of the assignment will be looking at the food labels or looking up the calories/serving sizes on the internet.
You must include:
The food you ate (carrots)
The quantity (You ate 2 baby carrots or 20 baby carrots)
There serving size if the package lists it (what is the serving size of carrots)
The number of calories (how many calories in one serving X how many servings you ate)
You will do this for each food you eat, for 4 days.
You can write this down however you chose (paper or online). It might make sense to have a chart to list these items
See the rubric to understand how I will assign points

Pathway of digestion:
From the point of view of a piece of food, list the pathway through the digestive track. Explain the main organs that it passes through and what is happening through each phase.
It should start with the food entering the body and finish with the food exiting the body. Explain what happens in between those two
You can go into more detail and include photos of the organs if you want
Attach a google doc with this information

This is just an interactive question that I would like for you to answer. We are all physically isolated right now and maybe this will help with the sense of being connected with each other. I would like to have a discussion and help to feel closer to each other when we can't be physically currently.
Remember to keep your responses school appropriate and keep in mind that other students can see your answers as well.
