I hope that you and your families are well and safe! This weeks assignment is to remind you and encourage you to finish all previous assignments for weeks one through six. If you have not completed all Sight Reading (SmartMusic) and Theory (Breezin' Thru Theory) assignments then you will have till the end of the week to complete these and have them submitted. I will be contacting those that I am missing assignments from, either through email or Google Voice, through out the week. Please make sure that you are getting these turned in as soon as possible.

Assignment Explanation & How to Setup Accounts/Use "SmartMusic" & "Breezin' Thru Theory"
Below you will find links and information in regards to your choir assignments for the week. As was stated in an email, that was sent out to both your email and to your parents email thru Skyward, the choir will be using two new programs to help with "Bulldog Distance Learning". These programs are: "Smartmusic, "Breezin' Thru Music Theory", and Google Classroom. Each week you will receive new assignments for each of these programs. As you complete your assignments for your other teachers I hope you will let the choir assignments be a reminder of the connect we have thru music, and a time fun.

Attached to this assignment you will find:
1. Video "warm-ups" that I have recorded for you to daily warm-up your voice and do a little singing.
A.) I plan to have these uploaded later today and this week once I have completed them.

2. Instructions for logging on to "Smartmusic" and completing your Sight Reading Assignment for the week.
A.) Your main goal is to log in and make sure you have set up your account correctly. See instructions in attached Word Document.
B.) Remember that you will only be able to access SmartMusic with an iPad, Laptop, or computer. You will not be able to access this sight with your smartphone.
C.) If you only have a SmartPhone I am working on how to help you complete these assignments via Google Classroom.
D.) Students if you are struggling to access "Smartmusic" here are some helpful links that you can copy and paste in your URL Search Bar:

to work ahead with this program you may.
2. The "Games" & "Play That Tune" are for fun reviews.

As we continue to use these programs and this new avenue of learning my/our goals for this week and future weeks are:
1. You will use the warm-ups daily to keep you voice in good health and to continue building your vocal range and skills.
2. That you will complete each weeks assignments in "Breezin' Thru Theory". Remember to use your full name for the log in each time.
3. That you will become familiar with Smartmusic and how to use it. (Play around and explore the program).
4. That the choir will become familiar enough with Smartmusic that we will begin to work on a song by "PinkZebra" in order possibly do a virtual choir this year, or sing on a "Fall Concert" next year.

If you have any questions to the new platforms we will be using or just need help in completing assignments during the next several weeks please contact me for help.
