Health Science Theory and Clinical Assignments

Health Science Theory and Clinical is designed to provide for the development of multi-occupational knowledge and skills related to a wide variety of health careers. Students will complete the Texas Certified Nursing Assistant curriculum and have hands-on clinical experiences in the long-term care setting in order to sit for the Texas Certified Nursing Assistant Exam.  In addition, students will participate in clinical rotations at local hospitals to observe many of the health care professions. Students will also earn their Health Care Provider CPR and OSHA Certification.
