Chemistry/Honors Chemistry

My name is Susan Sandfer.  I'll be teaching Chemistry and Honors Chemistry this year.  This will be my 24th year teaching, my 15th year teaching Chemistry, but my first year at Burnet HS.  I graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Chemistry.  After graduation I worked as an analytical chemist for 10 years before deciding to change careers and become a teacher.  I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from LSU.

 

In my free time I  like to spend time with my family, read,practice my archery and gardening.

 

My husband and I are new to Burnet and look forward to learning all about it!
