The Burnet HS Bands had a great day hosting the Region 32 UIL Concert & Sight Reading Contest on April 11. Not only did they do a great job hosting the event, both high school bands earned a first division (superior) rating from all three judges on stage as well as in sight reading! The judges sheets are glowing with praise for both the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble.
This is the 18th consecutive year that the EDC has earned the UIL Sweepstakes award. Sweepstakes is awarded to bands who earn a first division in marching, concert, and sight reading. There were many obstacles that these students overcame to continue the legacy of superior band in Burnet, TX. Please congratulate these outstanding young men and women for their achievement.
