About Me

My name is Jeannette Gegogeine. I am a Chemistry teacher at Burnet High School. I am a Bulldog, Class of 2007, and am honored to teach in my hometown to give back to the school and community that empowered and shaped me. After graduating high school, I ventured to Texas A&M to obtain my B.S. in Wildlife and Fishery Sciences, then I earned my teaching certificate.

Teaching Science allows me to utilize two of my greatest passions: working with students and getting to stay in the curious world of Science. I enjoy working with students and helping them reach their dreams through their education.  An education should empower students and help him or her make a positive contribution to our world.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela
