Family and Consumer Science Teacher / Special Education Teacher
This is my second year teaching but my sixteenth year in education. I was an Instructional Partner in several other school districts prior to becoming a certified teacher. I went to Lamar University while being a coach's wife and raising my two children. Becoming a certified teacher later in my life means I took a little bit of a different path to get here but the hard work that was required of me makes me appreciate where I am that much more. I love teaching and making a difference in our students' lives. It's my passion!
My second year as a certified teacher and my second year as a Burnet Bulldog! I love living and teaching in a community that I love so much! I was born here, I got back here as soon as I could and I am proud that both of my children will be graduates of Burnet High School! Go Bulldogs!!
