Aidan Callahan
Hello! I am excited to join the administrative team at Burnet High School! The 2022-2023 school year will be my 20th year in public education. Most recently I worked for The University of Texas at Austin as the Principal of UT High School from 2019-2022. I was also in administrative roles as an Associate Principal at UT, Assistant Principal in Leander ISD, and a curriculum specialist for UT. Prior to becoming a school administrator, I served as a high school and middle school coach in various districts.
I live in Burnet with my wife of 14 years and my three children. My two school age children attend BMS and R.J. Ritchey. As a resident of Burnet, I have watched the district with admiration as my children have attended elementary school here for the past few years. I look forward to getting to know all the students and community members of Burnet more in the coming year.
