Kristen Atwood

Hello!  My name is Kristen Atwood.  I am very excited to be at Burnet High School.  I have always been drawn to public service.  Prior to becoming a teacher I worked as a paramedic in Lampasas County.  I have kept up with my paramedic certification and still use it use it during the summer to work at summer camps and volunteer.   After starting my family I decided to serve others through teaching.  This will be my 11th year in education. 

 

I have three children, a daughter and twin boys.

 

I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor's in Public Safety and Emergency Management.
