After 22 years in education, I am excited to join the team at Burnet High School for the 2018-2019 school year. I graduated from Leander High School, received my Bachelor's Degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, and obtained my Master's Degree through Concordia University. I started my career as a middle school English teacher in Lake Dallas, TX, and then taught at a variety of levels for the next 10 years. For the past 17 years, I have been a part of Leander ISD, serving in the roles of teacher, ELA facilitator, coordinator of staff development, and assistant principal.
My husband and I have been married for 24 years and enjoy spending time with our 15 year old son, Kirin, and our two cats. In my spare time, I love to exercise, read and travel. I look forward to serving the students, parents, and community of Burnet CISD this year!
