There is white paper and art supplies on the front table. 
Create a one pager on paper or Google Slides. You must have:
1. Have the word PROCRASTINATION
2. Three things you have procrastinated on
3. An illustration for each of those 3 things.
4. Come up with one way (a plan in a sentence) for each thing that you will do to NOT procrastinate again.
5. Must be colorful.
6. Must fill the page.
7. Must have your name on it!

1. Think of a creative pose anywhere on campus, but keep in mind that you will be adding a thought bubble to the photo. I will show examples in class.
2. Submit picture in Google Classroom. 
3. You will be given a paper copy of a thought bubble. You will decorate and put what you are thinking about your future (after high school) in the bubble. You may put things such as: where you are wanting to go to college, what career you want to pursue, what you have to overcome or accomplish to reach your goals, etc...
4. You will turn the thought bubble in to your class tray. 
5. We will be hanging these in the hallway later this week.

Follow instructions on attachment.

1) Answer the questions on the inside of the sweater.  You will complete 2 sweaters over 2 colleges.
 the one you have drawn... (we will draw Tuesday) 
 a college of your choice.
2) Cut out the sweater template & fold it like a booklet.  Decorate the front of the sweater using the school colors, school logo, and mascot in an ugly sweater style.


*** We will have a competition with the other AVID classes voting on the UGLIEST sweater.

After you have drawn for your college/university... (we will draw Tuesday)
1) Find a logo & hand draw it onto the ornament.  
              Use pencil first, then marker or colored pencil.  
2) On the back write 3 facts about your college.

Choose 2 colleges that you would possibly like to attend & complete the financial aid checklist for each school

Bring 10 cans for the HOSA can drive by Monday.

Read through the list of Financial Aid "Myths" & tell why they are myths... what is the truth about each one?

The assignment is attached. I have chosen a Division 2 and 3 school and a Junior College in Texas for you to tour. I want you to see the difference in size and think about what is best for you.  The link to the tours are on the assignment. Answer the questions for each school. You may have to look up a couple of the answers on the school's website. They have audio if you would like to listen to the person giving the tour.
*YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE A COPY FOR YOURSELF SO YOU CAN FILL IT OUT.
